I would LOVE to win this book! I’m just starting a little (amateur) photog business. My main goal is to be a youth sports photographer around my small town. We have a few “professional” photographers here, although none of them for youth sports. The county I live in has an unemployment rate of almost 15%. The only positive thing for kids to be involved in is youth sports. The ‘professional’ photographers that take a one pose picture of each individual player charges an astronomical amount for their packages. My dream, as a scrapbooker, is to be able to provide very inexpensive shots of kids to their parents, so that they, too, can enjoy preserving their memories. Most families can not afford a quality DSLR camera, and the gym lighting is almost impossible to get with a regular point & shoot camera. Anything that will help me help other parents…that would be awesome!

I received the same advise from ATJ and can second what Paula has said about the Kevin Kubota post processing work flow. Kevin and his team are amazing.

I’ve recently launched my photography business. I like to photograph children & families. I’m also jumping into commercial photography as well.

I have the book, don’t enter me. Just wanted to second what you had to say Paula!

Best kind of model Sherry! This book won’t help you use your DSLR but it will help when you process those wonderful digital photos you take! I took an online class by Karen Russell – google her. The class was perfect for me and got me on the path to manual mode!
